Autumn '08

Officially The Soju'd Hoju run was in Autumn, but I figured it deserved its own dedicated page.

Parky, Book and I had a marvelous time on Geoje Island this weekend. The weather was fantastic and the Geoje costal roads never let you down.

Bill, Lisa, Pat, Parky, Book and I had a pretty rad weekend out last weekend. We drove up through the apple, pear and persimmon valleys of Miryang, Cheongdo and Unmun. It really is spectacular this time of year, but I have harped on about that enough this autumn. It was great to get out with Bill and Lisa again for the first time since (due to a fantastic series of timetable clashes) May. It was very pleasurable for both me and Parky to not be the ride leaders for the first time since APRIL!!! We really relaxed at the back of the line. We really relaxed out and let ourselves be led through unfamiliar landscape. Parky was mimicking my throttle, clutch and brake actions like a test pilot in a flight simulator. We were chatting, taking in the scenery, making some video, gasping at the barren late-autumn hills and valleys, not a care in the world, not thinking, not thinking, relaxed, relaxed, relaxed … perhaps a little too much so ...

Join me, Parky, Pat and Books for my/our 4th tour around Hapcheon Dam.

We did a run up to Changnyeong and back, just the three of us this morning. My God, I love Autumn in this country. 27degrees at lunchtime, 10 degrees at midnight, the best of both worlds. And the mountains ...

I think this is a better booky vid. Easier to understand, and encapsulates the whole Booky experience better.
